This week, I completed a Finance Work Experience placement at Aviva’s London office on 80 Fenchurch Street ! I took part in numerous workshops covering CV prep, Aviva Investors, AC practice and gained a valuable understanding of the insurance, investment industry. One of the highlights was delivering a presentation on retirement planning, exploring the importance of starting to invest early and the power of compounding. I’m grateful to Harish Rana and Eve Hodgers for their thoughtful feedback and support. A huge thank you to Manav Verma for organising such a fantastic programme and to Jack Harris, Natalia Bond for being such welcoming hosts. I’m looking forward to applying for Aviva’s Grad Scheme this autumn and hope to continue developing my expertise in the Financial service’s sector.
