Good vibes in the city! More than 600 guests gathered yesterday in the courtyard of the Brewery Altes Mädchen for the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce's annual summer party. There was plenty to talk about: The Hamburg University of Technology receiving the Hamburg 2040 Award, the premature departure of the HHLA boss, automation in the maritime industry, the future of the Elb Tower and the opening of the new Westfield shopping centre in the Hafencity. The good mood among the guests left little doubt that Hamburg can master the many challenges in the face of a tense global situation. Perhaps the best way to describe it is optimistic realism.
