Product manager should think like a customer while solving problems that customers are willing to pay for that problem & opportunity to solve product manager should not think like a customer while the problem solving does not have monetary benefits Product manager should think like business user when it comes to monetary benefits Product manager should not think like business user when it severely compromises customer trust It’s a balancing act between customer user experience and business while making money. So product manager is not highly engaged customer nor super business user nor a UX expert who worries only about user experience and customer experience Product manager is a person who can ruthlessly manage tradeoff between experience , customer, business and engineering .
