Today on International Women’s Day, I want to take a moment to thank three of the most important women in my life. 💜 First and foremost, my incredible mum, who turns 91 in May. Back in the 1970s she made the life-changing decision to adopt me and gave me the very best start in life. She shaped the person I am today, always encouraging me to be strong, independent and to believe in myself. I will always be grateful for the love, guidance and opportunities she gave me. I’m also immensely proud of my two daughters, who are both strong women in their own very different ways. Abigail Walker, who graduated last year and is now working hard as a freelancer in social media content creation, carving out her own path. And Charlotte, who is not only a wonderful mum to my gorgeous grandson, but together with her partner is raising him to be a kind, respectful young boy. And finally, by no means least, to all the amazing women I’ve had the privilege of working with over the past 27 years — and those I continue to work alongside today — thank you. Your inspiration, strength and support have shaped my journey in so many ways. Happy International Women’s Day to all the incredible women making a difference every day. 🌸 #IWD #women #inspirational #leaders #lifechanging #proud Hannah Wadey Rita King Lillian Broom Sophie Bimson Gracie Broom Sylvia Oates CBII Silvana Kill Jayne King FSyI, ASMS, Saskia Garner Sofia Gassne Phee Mann-Bryans Lisa Baskott Coralie Andrea Dr Kimberley Marsh Rachelle O'Sullivan Taylor Jade Mann Sally Bradbeer Sara Jane T.
