Today is a sad day at Prager Towers. Not only is Stephen Mason retiring after a long career in #travellaw, Andrew Spencer is moving on to pastures new. Even when he was a pupil it was clear that Andrew was Something Else - brighter, quicker, more conscientious, more tenacious, and above all, more #fun than your average barrister. He will of course bring all of these attributes - and more - to bear as a judge, and I don't blame Carr LCJ at all for snapping him up from under our noses at #Deka. Everyone in the team wishes him well, and for those appearing before him in the coming months and years, I have a piece of advice - don't try to pull the wool over his eyes, he's far too clever for that. #sadbutbrave #notlosingafriendbutgainingajudge #havefunAndrew
