I’m still in a haze from one of my favorite retail events of the year: Women in Retail Leadership Circle. And I’m at a loss for words trying to describe the depth of connection I felt this week — so instead, I’ll share three standout quotes that really stayed with me: 1️⃣ “Culture is a lived experience.” – Julie Rice, Peoplehood/SoulCycle The conversation around scaling the human experience was a standout for me. Humans are inherently relational — period. No matter how digitally dominant our world becomes, I truly believe the gravitational pull toward real connection will never, ever fade. 2️⃣ “F*cking EBITDA.” – Kimberlee Vaccarella, Bogg Bag #IYKYK 😄 3️⃣ “No one can see 360 degrees — teams fill blind spots.” – Gina Drosos, Signet Jewelers The more senior I become in my career, the more I’m reminded that I don’t know everything and I can’t catch everything (go figure). Building great teams fills those gaps and makes the entire organization stronger.
