Final Year Chemical Engineering Student | Transitional Energy Technologies Specialisation

With the conclusion of my final research project, “The effect of storage time and conditions on total organic halogen (TOX) in disinfected drinking water,” I’m proud to share that I’ve officially completed my Chemistry degree! This project has been a challenging yet deeply rewarding experience. It allowed me to apply my knowledge in the lab and see how chemistry directly contributes to understanding and improving water quality. I’m incredibly grateful to the Curtin Water Quality Research Team and my supervisor, Professor Cynthia Joll, for their invaluable guidance, expertise, and support throughout my research. It’s been an honour to work alongside such respected figures in the water quality field. Reflecting on this journey, I’m proud of how much I’ve grown, from mastering analytical principles to developing independence and confidence as a researcher. Now, I’m excited to focus on completing my final year of Chemical Engineering, bringing together both disciplines to shape my future in the field.
