At Sappi Southern Africa, our leadership firmly believes that spending time with our people — listening, engaging and connecting, is essential to driving performance and building a strong, aligned organisation. This commitment comes to life through the annual Asikhulume Roadshow. This year, leadership engaged 1,901 employees across our operations, creating a platform to connect on key topics such as market conditions, business performance, job security, future outlook, as well as talent and employee wellbeing. The sessions are delivering real impact. Beyond the numbers, the roadshow is helping us align business and people priorities, strengthen our safety-first culture, introduce our Leadership DNA framework, and foster open communication across all levels of the organisation. Our CEO, Graeme Wild, shared: “The power of Asikhulume lies in open, honest conversations.
