Botswana's first cohort of SAP Young Professionals has graduated, marking a real shift in the region's digital skills landscape. Thirty-three young professionals now certified as SAP Associate Consultants are moving into roles at customers and partners, including Debswana, where they'll support ongoing technology transformation work. This graduation reflects what we're seeing across Africa: organisations need people who understand both the technical foundations and the business context. The program equips participants with skills in areas like ERP, generative AI, and business processes, the capabilities driving transformation conversations in boardrooms across the continent. Since launch, the SAP Young Professionals Program has reached more than 5,200 participants across 48 countries, creating a talent pipeline that directly supports the needs of customers and partners on the ground.
