Today is the birthday of Indian Nuclear Physicist Dr Homi Jehangir Bhabha who is also called the “Father of Indian Nuclear Programme". He laid the foundation of Indian Nuclear Programme and established India's prestigious research Institutes “ Tata Institute of Fundamental Research” & “Bhabha Atomic Research Centre". He was also nominated for the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1951 and 1953–1956. We should always remember that it was the great contribution of Dr Homi Jehangir Bhabha that India became the “Nuclear Power Nation”. Let's celebrate his birthday as “Indian Nuclear Physics Day”.
