Creative expression is thriving, even in a post-AI world. Classes like ENGL 74: New Forms for Creative Writing, designed by English professor Miah Jeffra, center the powerful idea that all writing is an experiment and a worthwhile practice for everyone. That spirit continues in “Where From / Where To?,” a collaborative exhibition now on view at the de Saisset Museum until June 13, 2026. The show pairs visual artwork with anonymous ekphrastic responses written by students, faculty, and staff across campus. Together, these works create a layered dialogue around a shared theme: home.
