3rd Year Medical Student at University College London, undertaking an iBSc in Oncology at UCL Cancer Institute
As my second year of university has come to a close, I am thrilled to share some personal academic milestones from my first two years at medical school: Paraskevaides Prize – Awarded for placing 5th overall in Year 1 Charlotte Dixon Memorial Prize – Awarded for placing 4th overall in Year 2 Meyerstein Scholarship – In recognition of my overall performance across both years I am very thankful to UCLMS (UCL Faculty of Medical Sciences) for their excellent teaching these past two years, and especially to the amazing people around me for supporting me through these two years. I absolutely would not have achieved these feats without them. While these academic achievements are significant, my highlights over the last two years were the countless memories I made with my friends and these are what I will look back on most fondly. I now look forward to a year out of medicine, studying an iBSc in Oncology at the UCL Cancer Institute where I hope to delve deeper into one of my strongest interests and learn more about scientific technique and it’s applications.
