I’m SO proud of our most recent collaboration with Save the Children, who are doing awesome work around the world and making a huge different to countless children in need. We’ve created a World Spice Collection with them: a set of 3 blends inspired by children all around the world, plus there's a lovely back story in this for me too. Mum used to put spices in everything she cooked when I was growing up, and I’ve loved doing the same with my 6 year old Zara and seeing her taste different flavours and get excited about food (you might remember she inspired me to create our Baby Spice range though she did quickly teach me that toddlers don’t want to be called "babies" – seriously what was I thinking?). I reluctantly put the Baby Spice range on the back-burner when we rebranded, but never let go wanting to somehow help encourage children to experiment with food. And so the collab with Save the Children has helped me to bring this idea back to life. The trio collection is a range of gentle spice blends for kids, with no added salt or sugar, and includes Baking Spices, a Mild Curry Blend and a Herby Seasoning. The thing I love the most is that it’s packaging made by kids, for kids, resulting in colourful designs that our whole Spice Kitchen team is massively excited about. I really hope it helps parents connect with kids through cooking and have fun in the kitchen. Lastly, if you've read this far.... heaps of gratitude to Save the Children International for this, and to Sonia Kiourtzidis, who connected us through the Museum of the Home and knew why I was so keen to make this happen. Thank you so much. https://lnkd.in/ev9YGqeX
