I'm thrilled to share the exciting news that our team achieved remarkable success at YCP Hacks 2023, earning recognition with three prestigious awards. We proudly secured 1st place in the "Best YCP Hacks" category, claimed 3rd place in the "Best of Show" competition, and received recognition for the "Best Use of Auth0" sponsored by MLH. Our project Connect Campus provided a platform for students to request assistance to overcome logistical challenges during emergencies or busy times. The project focused on fostering a supportive community among students, especially the ones on a remote campus who do not have proper access to transportation or services like DoorDash and Uber Eats. The project was built mainly on React.js, PostgreSQL, and Express.js. I am grateful to my team members Prabesh Bista, Yashaswe Amatya, and Thuc Tran Duy. We're deeply thankful for the unwavering support and guidance provided by the Department of Computer Science at Gettysburg College. A special shoutout goes to the dedicated organizers of YCP Hacks and the incredible Major League Hacking community for making this incredible journey possible.
