Generations came together for a very special event at our HQ in Sweden: The Spirit of Sandvik Coromant. 💛 The day brought together our current President, Helen Blomqvist, and a very special guest – Clas-Åke Hedström. Today, at 86 years old, Clas-Åke carries with him a remarkable 45-year journey with Sandvik, from leading Sandvik Coromant as President to later becoming President and CEO of the Sandvik Group and Chairman of the Board. Together, Helen and Clas-Åke reflected on our history, the people and values that shaped us, and how the spirit of Sandvik Coromant continues to guide us into the future. The event was hosted by some of our youngest employees, fresh from Göranssonska School, and afterwards, we had the chance to listen to unique stories from former employees who spent close to 40 years with our company. Different generations. Different stories. One Sandvik Coromant.
