🤖 CAS in Game Changer AI - Learnings from first two Modules 🤖 AI is everywhere, but clarity on how to apply it in business is not. That’s why I can strongly recommend the new CAS “Game Changer AI” at the University of Zurich Executive Education. It cuts through the noise and brings clarity on where AI truly creates value. Selected key learnings so far: 🎯Data is the real leverage, not the model. Most of the effort and value lies in collecting and cleaning high-quality data, not in building the model itself. “Garbage in, garbage out” is still the ultimate truth in AI. 🎯AI models are powerful, but come with uncertainty and trade-offs. Every method balances performance, interpretability, and data requirements. Understanding uncertainty is as important as accuracy. 🎯Deep learning & LLMs: powerful black boxes. Modern AI automates feature creation but reduces explainability. As adoption grows, knowing when not to trust the model becomes a critical skill. 🎯AI adoption in organizations is less a technical challenge, but more a leadership one. Leaders must connect AI to strategy. Successful AI transformation depends on culture, psychological safety, and a clear purpose. 🎯The future of work is augmentation, not human replacement. AI will take over tasks, but humans define the purpose. Human strengths become even more critical in an AI-enabled world: empathy, judgment, creativity, and vision. Thank you Patrick Meyer for the phantastic organization, and thank you to all the lecturers for sharing information, cutting-edge research and their learnings: Jan Dirk Wegner Tobias Schimanski Florent Thouvenin Lauren Howe Anand van Zelderen David De Cremer.
