Prague’s Play of Forms: Roztyly Plaza Where urban life meets green space, Roztyly Plaza in Prague sets a new benchmark for contemporary workplaces. Located directly at the Roztyly metro station, the seven-storey office building combines striking architectural design with an intelligent façade concept delivered by SANCO partner Isosklo (ISOTHERM Group). Designed by Aulík Fišer architekti, the building features a distinctive interplay of straight lines and rounded forms. At its centre, a spacious, light-filled atrium creates an inviting environment that promotes communication, wellbeing and productivity. One of the project's key challenges was ensuring effective solar protection. As the exposed location experiences high wind loads, conventional external shading systems were not a suitable option. Instead, the façade benefits from insulating glass featuring SANCO ESI solar control coatings – specifically developed to limit solar heat gain while preserving high levels of natural daylight. To meet the project's demanding safety requirements, the glazing was also specified with SANCO Safe in tempered and laminated safety glass configurations. The combination of solar control, safety and transparency creates a façade that supports both the architectural vision and the functional requirements of a modern office environment. With approximately 22,000 m² of office space as well as retail and dining areas, Roztyly Plaza demonstrates how innovative glass solutions can contribute to sustainable, future-oriented building concepts. © Jan Kroupa #SANCO #SancoGroup #GlassCanBeMore #SolarControlGlass #FacadeDesign #OfficeArchitecture
