🏆 Teams from our Street Division were thrilled to receive an award and share best practices at the recent ITE Western District Meeting in Bellevue, Washington. 👏 The team running our Quick-Build Program won a Transportation Achievement Award for Safety! Their projects bring quick and affordable safety upgrades to city streets, especially along the High-Injury Network. We have 44 Quick-Build corridor projects completed and 4 under construction, totaling more than 40 miles of street improvements. They make it safer for people to walk, bike, roll and drive in San Francisco. 📹 We also shared best practices on our successful speed safety camera program. We explained our data-driven approach to selecting camera locations. We also shared tips on engaging communities and building out a program.  ✅ And, we shared our early results: Speeding has dropped nearly 80% at camera locations we evaluated! As an agency, we’re excited to learn from our peers at events like this and help others in transportation deliver such powerful results.
