More people are choosing Muni—and the numbers tell the story. 📈🚋 May was another record month for ridership! 🚌 Weekends are leading the way at 100% recovery. In fact, we had more weekend riders this May than in May 2019. 🚆 Our rail ridership numbers are at their highest since the pandemic. An average of 126,000 people took Muni Metro lines each weekday in May. 🎉 With an average of 538,000 trips per day, May was Muni’s third highest weekday ridership month since the pandemic.
