✅ Accountability is critical as we work with our city partners to advance key priorities in Mayor Daniel Lurie 丹尼爾·羅偉's Street Safety Initiative and Supervisor Myrna Melgar’s Street Safety Act. That’s why we want to keep you in the loop about our progress over the last six months. Our new Safety Zone Program is a big piece. We have already been painting curbs red to make intersections safer and meet state law. Now for existing daylighting zones, we will: --Create safety zones with upgrades like bike corrals or concrete elements where these are needed most to keep intersections clear and safe --Open applications this summer for community-funded murals or planters in painted safety zones We’re also joining city partners to address safety risks around e-bikes and scooters. And we’ve made great progress improving our coordination with the San Francisco Fire Department, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and San Francisco Department of Public Works when it comes to opportunities for safety upgrades. All of this complements our year-round safety work! You can learn the details in our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/gtagHtyk
