I’m delighted to share that I have completed my internship with Publicis Groupe Singapore as part of the Talent Development team – and it was an absolute privilege. At a time when organisations are rethinking efficiency, success, and what sets people apart, I came to appreciate the often underestimated yet vital role of Human Resources in continuously empowering employees to reach new bests – working with, rather than against, these societal and technological shifts. Under the guidance of Wenxin Teh, Data, L&D, and Special Projects Manager, I analysed large regional datasets on employee engagement to inform retention strategies; helped facilitate and analyse focus group discussions; supported L&D projects including career growth mapping and talks on professional and personal upskilling; contributed to internal marketing and engagement initiatives; and conducted research on generational and automation-driven shifts in the workplace. I was also fortunate to participate in Singapore’s PinkFest as part of Publicis Groupe’s Égalité initiative, which embodies the DEI principles at the heart of HR. A huge thank you to Elaine Fong, Elizabeth Tan, and Sin Yee Lau for dedicating themselves to my learning at every stage and always making me feel like a valued team member; to Karisha Partabrai for inducting me into the employer branding and events side of HR with her contagious energy; and to Wenxin Teh once again, for encouraging my independence and providing such thoughtful mentorship. Here’s to championing human potential!
