True engineering happens at the intersection of advanced research and real-world industrial scalability. ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ผ I have successfully defended my PhD thesis in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, #DIMEAS. My research looked into treating unidirectional #carbon fibers with atmospheric #plasma to increase fiber/matrix adhesion performance. Through a rigorous multiscale analysis, I managed to connect plasma chemistry with mechanical efficiency, aiming directly at applications in #Aerospace and #Sustainable Mobility, being part of #PNRR - NODES Spoke 1 project. Looking back at day one, this journey reshaped not only these materials but also how I approach complex engineering problems. Deeply grateful to the mentors, colleagues, and friends at #PoliTO who challenged and supported me along the way. Bound, defended, and ready for whatโ€™s next in the advanced materials industry. ๐Ÿ”ฌ ๐ŸŽ๏ธ #AdvancedMaterials #Composites #PlasmaTechnology #Engineering #PhD #NODES #PoliTo #DIMEAS
