“I can fix my own phone, and one day I’d love to start my own repair business.” After experiencing Samsung’s ‘Behind the Glass’ mobile device repair program, recent Frisco ISD graduate Jyothi Seelam was inspired to continue exploring her lifelong fascination of technology. From there, Jyothi participated in the Smartphone Repair Bootcamp where she gained further hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing and reassembling smartphones while working toward her WISE Level 1 Certification. “I've always been curious about how technology works and taught myself by taking apart old electronics and watching repair tutorials online, but the Smartphone Repair Bootcamp gave me the confidence to build new skills, learn from my mistakes and better understand the technology behind the devices we use every day,” says Jyothi.
