Last week, I studied Britannia Industries — one of India's most dominant FMCG businesses. For my second company, I wanted something different. Not another category leader. Not another mature FMCG giant. I chose Tata Consumer Products. What makes Tata Consumer interesting is that its story is still evolving. While Britannia built its leadership through biscuits and distribution strength, Tata Consumer is expanding across categories like tea, coffee, salt, staples, packaged foods and beverages.
