I still remember the exact spot on the terrace. Ibiza, 2010. I was seven. Oliver was seven. We met on a family holiday and were inseparable within a day. We had no idea that friendship would, fifteen years later, become a business. Today I get to write this sentence for the first time: LUMA Spritz Ltd is officially incorporated. 🎉 It's still surreal. So what is LUMA? It's a sparkling wine spritz — light, low-calorie, made for the kind of evening you don't want to end. The idea came from everything Oliver and I loved about those Ibiza summers: golden hour, good company, a drink that felt easy rather than heavy. We wanted to capture that feeling and bring it home — in a can, not a bottle. Right now we're deep in the unglamorous part — product development, compliance, all the groundwork that has to happen before anyone gets to taste it. But this milestone deserved a moment, so here we are. Building it with two people I trust completely: ☀️ Oliver Stevens — my best friend of 15 years, now Co-Founder & Head of Mediterranean ☀️ Joselin Smit — Head of Finance & Operations, the reason the numbers actually add up And none of this happens without my parents, Paul Bailey and Ann Fisher — who, in fairness, probably didn't think "let him go to Ibiza on holiday" would end in a start-up fifteen years later.
