PROPAIN Bicycles GmbH is looking for a new General Manager for North America, based out of its Vancouver, Washington HQ. Having spent time with the founders and team over the last months, my sense is this is one of the most exciting roles in MTB in the US right now. This is not a typical “country manager” role: the person will effectively lead and help scale the entire North American business across operations, supply chain, production, customer experience, sales, PR and marketing. What makes it unique: * an exciting & growing enthusiast brand with strong credibility in gravity MTB * a vertically integrated D2C model with USPs of custom bike configuration and local (made in USA) assembly * a hands-on operational environment with real ownership and autonomy * the opportunity to direct the next phase of Propain growth in North America The role requires a mix of commercial, operational, and leadership capability. The ideal candidate is probably already in the bike / outdoor industry and understands both the culture and the complexity of scaling a premium enthusiast brand, and needs to be on-site in Vancouver, WA.
