Engineering Leadership & Principal Engineer | Driving Innovation

As some of you may know, after 10+ years at Trigger XR, I'm starting a new chapter. Trigger was formative in many ways; I learned to be not only a developer there but also a leader. I joined when AR was still brand new to most people. Pokémon GO hadn't happened yet, proper AR on the web was still years away, and spatial intelligence wasn't even a thought on people's minds. From there it was Spider-Man, LEGO, Disney, Honda, a Super Bowl activation, and a lot of late nights making things that had never been made before. Trigger shaped how I think about emerging technology and what's actually possible when you push a medium to its limits. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone there for the ride. I've joined HMCI.AI, the Human Machine Collaboration Institute, as Principal Engineer & Head of Technology. HMCI was founded around a question I find genuinely compelling: how do we help humans thrive alongside intelligent machines? I'm energized by the vision Sadie St Lawrence has built here, and excited to help bring it to life. We're already moving fast. We're building digital twins, municipal technology frameworks, and our CIO J.P. Morgan is close to publishing our first white paper: The City as an Operating System. You’ll see it in the next week or so; it’s worth a read if you're thinking about where intelligent infrastructure and human systems are heading. You can check that out and more at our (freshly redesigned!) website: https://hmci.ai/. I'm super excited for what's ahead! And if this work sounds exciting to you, I'd love to catch up. Also, I'll be at GTC on Monday if you'll be there!
