I’m a lifelong reader, and I too am a super reader. Reading is a great joy of and in my life. And like Sally, I believe this helps me in my job, it helps with my work superpower of seeing around corners and helps with storytelling that resonates. The most interesting people I know are readers (and lucky me, writers). And I’m drinking from a fire hose busy, but I still read. My key is that every night (and pray it holds as the boys grow) we do “book club” where we lay in bed and read before sleep time. So selfishly, I get some delicious quiet reading time under the guise of bedtime routine. I’m the one who will gift a book over anything else. And I’ll read anything. I have not read Harry Potter series or those Dragon wing whatever series but I’ll read anything that’s in front of me. I’ve just finished and absolutely loved Ian Kemish AM Two Islands.
