⭐️ Stand up for what you believe in - no matter what the cost. Yesterday Kasabian’s frontman Tom Meighan pleaded guilty (after initially denying the event until CCTV footage was presented) to assaulting his former fiancée, with a child actually making the call to the Police, about what has been described as a sustained assault. Kasabian have released this statement, being clear about their stance on Domestic Abuse and asking Tom to leave the band. They could have stayed silent like so many others but chose to speak out. Sadly many a comment on the thread was focused on ‘poor Tom’ and that the band should stand by him. Whilst I’m an absolute believer in humans ability to change sometimes lines in the sand are necessary. 📍Stand up for what you believe in 📍Speak your truth 📍Be clear with your boundaries 📍Provide help and support if you want to and/or feel able to. 📍Or, walk away - there’s no shame in saying a relationship is over, be it business or personal, especially when it challenges your values. I hope Vikki Ager and the child involved are able to find the support they need to heal and move forward. #sotrainingandconsulting #domesticabuse #survivors #kasabian #rolemodels #boundaries #speakout #values
