After receiving my invitation on the 7th of april, Tomorrow was meant to be the in‑person Sky Black Heritage Undergraduate of the Year Celebration Day, bringing together the top 40 finalists from across the UK. @Sky campus Osterley Due to the red weather alert, the event has now moved fully online. But the change hasn’t taken away from what this moment represents. I’m genuinely proud to be part of a cohort of talented, ambitious students who are already making an impact in their fields. The programme team has worked incredibly hard to reshape the day, and I’m looking forward to hearing from the guest speakers, connecting with the other finalists, and gaining more insight into Sky’s Early Careers pathways. A huge thank you to the Sky Early Careers Team for prioritising everyone’s safety while still ensuring the celebration goes ahead.
