The housing crisis isn’t a future challenge. In the United States, there is a need for 3.7 million homes and another 4 million homes in Canada. This gap continues to grow. And with a shortage of skilled labor, this makes it even harder to build. There needs to be a different approach. The issue is not only how much we build, but how we build. One possible solution is offsite construction, like the panelized building systems we offer through ONE PRECISION ASSEMBLIES. Factory-based solutions have the potential to accelerate delivery, improve efficiency, and scale housing in a more sustainable way. It was great to see these challenges and opportunities brought to life in a piece from Morning Brew featuring CEO Mark Rayfield and the Managing Director of ONE PRECISION ASSEMBLIES, Dennis Michaud. We're grateful to Annalisa Cochrane and the Morning Brew team for spotlighting both the urgency of the issue and the innovation happening across the construction industry. Solving the housing crisis will take collaboration, creativity, and a willingness to adapt with new methods, such as panelized construction. Catch the full interview: https://lnkd.in/dmKzxUbV
