Julien Garcier was at the Africa CEO Forum roundtable on The Skills Corridor in Kigali yesterday, presenting the results of our joint survey with Jeune Afrique on African Gen Z and work, run across 28 African markets. The data shows that beyond salary, career progression is the main priority for African Gen Z. “Finding a job that matches their skills also matters almost just as much as the pay” commented Julien.   They are also less focused on job security than older generations and more mobile, with 82% open to relocating for work. The question isn't whether the talent wants to move. It's whether African firms can position themselves as the destination where that ambition gets rewarded, before someone else does. Only 7% currently cite a pan-African company as their ideal employer. Firms that offer real progression and cross-border roles can change that number… #AfricaCEOForum #ACF2026 #AfricanGenZ #TalentMobility #SkillsCorridor #MarketResearch
