For the second stop in our “Batteries in the Four Corners of the World” series, we’re heading deep into the Australian desert, at the Agnew Gold Mine in Western #Australia. 🏜️ Extreme heat, remote location, and a clear ambition to reduce emissions: the challenge was set. Saft’s Li-ion BESS plays a key role in stabilizing a hybrid microgrid combining wind and solar, even when temperatures climb to 45°C.
