๐ How can composite components be manufactured more resource-efficiently? This was the challenge addressed by our customer RealComposite Oy in the production of lightweight tractor roofs for demanding forestry applications. Using SAERcoreยฎ RC, RealComposite benefits from optimized resin flow during the RTM process, enabling fast and reliable impregnation of the component. At the same time, the core material itself is made from 100% recycled material, helping to improve resource efficiency without compromising processing performance or part quality. And the project goes one step further. Production offcuts are not treated as waste. Instead, they are reused in secondary GRP applications such as weather station components, helping maximize material usage across the entire production process. โป๏ธ The result is a manufacturing approach focused on lightweight design, process reliability, and efficient resource utilization - without compromising component performance. We were pleased to already present this topic at JEC World, demonstrating how composite materials can contribute to more sustainable manufacturing concepts in the mobility and transportation sector.
