Sabancı Business School hosted a one-day workshop Breaches and Betrayals in Organizations on June 17, 2026, supported by TÜBİTAK and the European Union's Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). Organized by Prof. S. Arzu Wasti and Asst. Prof. Oyku Arkan, the workshop brought together scholars from management, cultural studies, business ethics, and social psychology to examine the causes, dynamics, and consequences of trust violations in organizational life. Through three paper sessions, a keynote address by Prof. Dominika Latusek-Jurczak (Kozminski University) on trust, distrust, and the fragility of institutions, and a structured creative discussion facilitated by Assoc. Prof. Selen Kars Unluoglu, participants engaged with cutting-edge empirical and theoretical work on whistleblowing, betrayal, exploitation, stigma, and institutional fragility. The workshop reflected a shared conviction that understanding how trust breaks down and how it might be repaired is among the most pressing questions facing organizations and the societies they inhabit. We thank all participants for insightful contributions, generous engagement, and for fostering the sense of community that made this workshop such a rewarding experience. Afsar Yegin Ashley Fulmer H.
