Last week in Düsseldorf at the PwC Tech Future Days 2025, I didn’t just learn about AI. I was challenged to rethink how we design it, govern it, and build trust in it. With powerful insights from Rusbeh Hashemian, Andreas Hufenstuhl, and Vivien Bender, it became clear how quickly we are moving from classical automation to Agentic AI, autonomous workflows, and scalable systems. At the same time, topics like Responsible AI, governance, transparency, and the EU AI Act are no longer future concerns. They are already shaping today’s decisions. One thought stayed with me throughout all sessions: AI does not replace humans. It expands what we are capable of. But this only works if we consciously build in control, fairness, and meaningful human involvement. A heartfelt thank you to PwC Deutschland for creating such an inspiring space for exchange among young professionals & experts. Special thanks to Delia Träger for the brilliant moderation, and to Alicia Seckler, Grete Mauser, and Jan Volkmann for organizing such an outstanding event. One clear lesson stood out:: The real question is no longer if we use AI, but how consciously we choose to shape it. We are not watching this transformation from the outside. We are building it right now. And the question I am leaving with is this: Are we designing AI just to be powerful, or to be truly worthy of our trust? #TechFutureDays #PwC #AgenticAI #ResponsibleAI #AIGovernance #FutureOfWork #Students #YoungProfessionals #AI #PwcDeutschland PwC
