𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵, 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝗸𝗿𝗶 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗿𝗮𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗔𝟮𝟬 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 '𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿' Proteas Men’s head coach Shukri Conrad has praised the 'game-changing' impact of the #BetwaySA20 following the Proteas' crunch 3-2 win in the T20 International series against New Zealand. “SA20 has been an unqualified success for us,” Conrad said. “You only need to look at the numbers, the calibre of players.” The Proteas won the high-pressure series decider at Christchurch on Wednesday, and the most satisfying highlight for Conrad has been the development of the young players that have cut their teeth in Betway SA20 over the past four seasons. “It (SA20) does bridge the gap between domestic cricket and international cricket. We've seen that, the amount of overseas players that come in, the experience that is then shared amongst our younger boys that haven't been exposed to international cricket." Betway SA20 Rising Stars such as Pretoria Capitals batter Connor Esterhuizen and Joburg Super Kings spinner Prenelan Subrayen along with Paarl Royals teenage seamer Nqobani Mokoena have all debuted on this New Zealand tour.
