Did you know that below the depths of our Kangaroo Creek Reservoir in the Mount Lofty Ranges lies Batchelor’s Bridge? Snapped here in June 1968, the 28-metre-long bridge was one of 6 constructed in the early 1900s to provide safe passage across the River Torrens, before a newly-constructed road was opened higher into the hillside several decades later. More recently, this piece of concrete history resurfaced in 2018, when we drained the reservoir for major upgrade works. #ThrowbackThursday
