Through our Pirku‑Itya (Reconciliation Partnerships Program), we are proud to see the completion of a Reconciliation Garden at Lobethal Community Kindergarten in the Adelaide Hills. Co-designed with Aboriginal Cultural Consultant Courtney Hebberman and the local community, this new space brings together culture, sustainability and learning. Encompassing native plantings, a recycled water feature and a yarning circle, the garden creates opportunities for children and families to connect with Country, deepen cultural understanding, and explore the importance of water and the environment. The garden reflects a shared commitment to reconciliation, community partnership and environmental stewardship, supporting the next generation to learn, reflect and grow. 📷 Take a look at the completed space in the images. Applications for our 2026-27 Pirku‑Itya are now open. If your not-for-profit organisation has a project that strengthens connections between water, culture and community, we encourage you to apply: https://lnkd.in/gXJM9NWB
