Shaped by opportunity is an incredibly apt way to describe Project Coordinator Aaron’s career after two decades within the water industry.   His passion for supporting our networks was borne out of early-career opportunities, including working on our sewer cleaning crews and supporting our Network Technicians during the Millenium Drought.   “This challenging period of main breaks and ground movement enabled me to learn our networks - and advance my career,” Aaron explains.    He supported some of South Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects as a network technician, before switching into the flexibility of his current role.   One standout moment was his involvement in our North South Interconnection System Project.   'Being trusted to help operate and deliver such a critical piece of infrastructure supporting Adelaide’s long‑term water security remains one of my proudest achievements,' Aaron reflected.   Among the other critical projects he's supported are Adelaide's Torrens to Darlington project and the O‑Bahn Tunnel — work he still takes pride in when driving past them today.   Now based at our Bolivar Wastewater Treatment Plant, Aaron hasn't shied away from continuing to learn, recently completing a Diploma of Project Management - all while handling two kids and two dogs!   Asked what his best advice is, Aaron doesn't hesitate - 'be ready for change.'   ‘As our industry continues to respond to climate pressures, customer expectations, and environmental challenges, adaptability is key,’ he says.   “Stay open to learning and embrace new ways of working.”   He's certainly testament to his own advice - congratulations on 20 years, Aaron.
