Today is #InternationalWomenInEngineeringDay, and we’re highlighting the impact female engineers of many disciplines have across our organisation. This year’s theme – Engineering Intelligence – highlights the creativity and courage women bring to the complex projects we’re leading right around South Australia. There is a contingent of female engineers working within our Growth, Capital Delivery and Science and Strategy teams, and their expertise is invaluable. And we’re proud to have strong leaders within our dedicated Engineering team to inspire our next generation of women in STEM. “There are many leaders to look up to here at SA Water,” acknowledges Amy, a Program Director within our Growth team. “Engineers change the world in a positive way.” Just starting her journey in the industry, Graduate Engineer Deeksha sums it up best. “Engineering needs diverse perspectives, and your voice matters more than you realise.”
