In a major boost to our wastewater network in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands, we’ve recently completed construction of a new 120-metre-long treatment lagoon in the community of Mimili. Roughly the size of a soccer pitch, the community’s new wastewater lagoon uses sunlight and natural processes to help store and treat sewage produced by our local customers. We’re proud to have delivered this important project that protects public health, while significantly increasing our wastewater treatment capacity to cater for future growth.
