Anyone missing a mattress?   This double mattress, together with a fishing rod and a few vehicle tyres, were among the sunken treasure recovered from the bottom of Paringa’s Lock 5 as part of maintenance at the River Murray site.   The major refurbishments has seen the 120-metre-long lock chamber drained of its 8 million litre water capacity, with the work expected to be complete by October 2026.      Read more: https://bit.ly/Lock5Drain
