A throwback that’s been in the pipeline for a while... This historic – and recently digitised – piece of film is well worth the watch, showing the opening of our Morgan to Whyalla pipeline in 1944. Among the official delegation to open this integral infrastructure was the then Governor, Premier and Engineer in Chief. And it’s not just reminiscing on the past that has excited us – it's how proud we are the 358-kilometre-long pipeline is still a vital part of regional South Australia. Its supply of safe, clean drinking water to our customers across the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Eyre Peninsula continues to provide positive economic, social and public health benefits.
