A room full of colour, food and conversation. That’s how our people came together to celebrate Eid al-Fitr last week. Eid marks the end of Ramadan. A time of reflection, patience and generosity. You could see that in the way people showed up for each other. There was plenty of food to try, Henna, cultural clothing. But the best part was the conversations. People asking questions, sharing stories and getting to know each other. More than 25 volunteers helped bring it all together. They created a space where people felt comfortable to be themselves and share their culture. It matters because we work across communities like this every day. Taking the time to understand each other helps us work better together and better support the people we serve. It all plays a part in connecting South Australia to a better energy future, today.
