Built for the next generation of European AI 🚀 Another incredible highlight of our time in Luxembourg was a joint visit by the S9+ and B9+ delegations to MeluXina, Luxembourg's EuroHPC supercomputer, operated by LuxProvide. Walking through the facility, it became clear that the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) and LuxProvide have built something far greater than just a massive machine. MeluXina represents the precise, strategic digital infrastructure Europe needs if we want our startups to stay ahead of the curve, accelerate their innovation, and scale the next generation of AI-driven companies. Beyond the jaw-dropping numbers - up to 18 petaflops of computing power and 20 petabytes of storage - what really stood out was the forward-thinking design. The system is built with true sustainability in mind, utilizing advanced water-cooling technology that ranks it among Europe's most energy-efficient supercomputers. If we want European startups to build globally competitive tech, they need access to this level of infrastructure.
