This week, students from across Australia gathered in Canberra for the annual Constitutional Convention to explore how government works and share ideas about democracy. Year 12 student Charlie was selected to represent Ryan Catholic College at this yearโ€™s program, representing our school and his cohort with pride and professionalism. During the convention, Charlie had the opportunity to meet with Hon Jason Clare MP and Hon Phillip Thompson MP, and take part in meaningful discussions around leadership, government and the future of our nation. Mr Thompson shared how pleased he was to meet with local delegates, noting the students were a credit to their schools and a wonderful representation of the Herbert electorate in Canberra. Experiences like this are a powerful example of our students engaging beyond the classroom - building confidence, deepening their understanding and finding their voice to help shape the future. ๐Ÿ‘ Well done, Charlie. #ExperienceMore #RCCJourneyTogether
