Just back from a few intense days at the XFem Labs Boot Camp with BioMed X Institute in Heidelberg. The final pitch felt like a meaningful milestone, a unforgettable moment where all the thinking and discussion finally came together on stage. But what I’m most grateful for is the people. The encounters. The mutual understanding and respect. The moments where we supported and helped each other through the pressure. The quiet words of encouragement and reassurance. And equally, the critical scientific discussions that challenged us to think harder and sharper. I’m thankful for every one of those moments. Experiences like this remind me that science is serious work. It’s all about people ❤️❤️❤️
