𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Today is Global Lifting Awareness Day (GLAD), organised by the LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association), which raises awareness worldwide of the importance of safety when lifting loads. This year’s slogan sums it up perfectly: “Not all lifting equipment is created equal.” Often, mistakes are not made during use, but arise as early as the selection of the right product or through the use of damaged products. Quality, testing and the correct selection of lifting equipment are crucial factors for a safe lifting operation. At RUD, this has always been part of our core philosophy.
