Forcing yourself to explain your business in a few clear sentences isn’t easy—but it can be an exciting challenge. You end up seeing what’s really important, what’s missing, and what’s just noise. I’ve always loved breaking down complex ideas into simple solutions. That’s why I started in design. Fundraising does the same thing: it strips away the clutter and reveals the core of your business. So instead of dreading fundraising, use it. Every question, every pause, every “tell me more” is a chance to refine your thinking.
